Who we are
Comedy that doesn't make you drive to the city.
Peninsula Comedy is a collective of comedians putting stand-up into the spots between San Francisco and San Jose that usually get skipped. It started with one show at a sports bar in San Carlos in September 2025. Now it's a run of rooms across San Mateo County, from Burlingame down to Redwood City.
Every show is hosted and produced by Emon Dismore, with lineups pulled from the San Francisco Punchline, Cobb's, the San Jose Improv, Comedy Oakland and Rooster T. Feathers. Free or cheap to get in, never a drink minimum.

Our downtown San Mateo room. A full cocktail bar, low light, and an Indian kitchen next door that keeps the samosas coming through the show.

After the dinner rush, Barracuda turns its dining room into the only stand-up show in downtown Burlingame. Intimate, upscale, and the bar stays open.

The Rail Sports Bar & Lounge
Where Peninsula Comedy started. The Rail is a sports bar on El Camino that has hosted the Riotous Laughs showcase and the New Talent Showcase.
